I have recently fallen in love with San Diego. The restaurants, bars, coffee shops, & hotels are designed so gorgeously. This place is Instagram heaven. One of my favorite restaurant groups there is Consortium Holdings - they own the most iconic restaurants & bars in SD.

Morning Glory ✴

This place is first-come, first-serve & every day they are open, no matter what time you arrive, there will be a wait. The first time I went, we put our name on the list & waited over 4 hours for a table but it was 100% worth it. We walked around Little Italy & had a few drinks before at the place right below Morning Glory. I learned after that the secret to their strict “No Reservations” is to email at least 48 hours in advance & reserve one of their “Family Affair” menu items. There are three menu items to choose from & they serve 2-4 people & cost between $99-$135. If you reserve at least one of these items, you also get a table reservation. Go with a group & reserve ahead of time & do not miss this place!!

Nolita Hall ✴

This place is great for both brunch & dinner. Brunch is fun in their outdoor cabanas with a big group. Inside they have a big bar, booths, a shuffleboard area & massive projectors playing any of the big sports games. Their cocktails & pizza are my favorite. They also have a DIY “Pancake charcuterie board” that is fun for a group appetizer. This place accepts reservations & walk-ins.

Born & Raised ✴

Book a reservation here. I prefer to sit up on the rooftop, but the downstairs is gorgeous as well. This place is known for its steaks & cocktails. The attention to detail here is just like any other Consortium Holdings property — perfection.

Seneca ✴

This is a newer Italian restaurant with rooftop ocean views. They hand-pull mozzarella tableside, their pastas & cocktails are insane. Try to get an early dinner reservation right before sunset!
